Amateo Data Warehouse is a warehouse in a box for the hospitality industry, comprising of a business model that takes into account all facets of an increasingly complex business right down to individual transaction level. Data warehousing incorporates the gathering of information from disparate systems, both online, by regularly polling remote centres and importing batch information from external sources. These sources are often not within the enterprise control, and normally present serious quality issues. Data warehousing acts as a data centre where inconsistent and incomplete data can be captured, cleaned, standardised, enhanced and held in a common format.

Address Correction, Matching and De-Duplication Facilities

Amateo 360 is designed to manage multinational address correction and enhancement within the product, which then significantly improves the accurate gathering of profile data and, in one-to-one direct marketing initiatives, de-duplication. De-duplication in these one-to-one programs not only improves economies, but also minimises the risk of customer irritation by multiple mailings to the same individual or to inappropriate contacts.

Data enhancement includes the complete management of diacritic characters, which is essential for the effective communication for multinational companies, or hotel groups that have a great number of foreign guests. It ensures the correct custom formatting of addressing and that data from external sources is standardised in the correct local format essential in both developing customer relations and matching opportunities of response. Flexible Open Interface

Amateo Loader used customised intelligent Amateo Adapter technology to extract data from the required data sources. This alllows us to access virtually any application legacy or otherwise. Our system employs a sophisticated polling mechanism to identify new information from each individual property at specified intervals usually after the end of day process has ran. Our adapters are high speed compiled code programs for maximum efficiency. We publish a set of standard specifications for data warehouse inputs.

Amateo data warehouse contains a configurable translation layer for conversion of PMS data into standardised 'buckets' of information to allow for consolidated reporting across heterogenoeous PMS systems.
