Amateo Sign £3 million Contract with Choice Hotels

Amateo, the world first Guest Relationship Optimisation system dedicated solely for the hospitality industry, has announced its first major contract with Choice Hotels Europe. The £3 million deal will significantly drive future profits for Choice Hotels Europe and will fundamentally change the way the group tracks and manages its customer relationships.

Amateo is the world first technological software solution produced for the hospitality industry which combines dedicated hotel technology to optimise sales and revenue streams embracing business intelligence and software solutions designed to impact directly on the bottom line through effective sales and marketing reporting / planning. Amateo provides a unique cost effective and cost-recoverable product enabling hoteliers to forecast, plan and retain guests through comprehensive reporting procedures covering occupancy and sales, using comprehensive marketing campaign planning software and tracking systems. By combining a solid reporting tool, effective tracking software and an in-built planning tool, Amateo enables the hospitality industry to forecast business patterns - peaks and troughs - more effectively.

As of June 30th 2001, Choice Hotels International had 4,333 hotels open and 668 under development, representing 410,733 rooms.
