HITEC Taken By Storm by Amateo Technology

The premiere of Amateo GRO(TM) in North America was an unqualified success, announced Matthew Maxwell, CEO of Amateo. Making their technology available outside of Europe for the first time, Amateo were inundated with interest in the principles and functionality of their product suite.

Hospitality Industry Technology Exposition and Conference (HITEC) is acknowledged as the premium hospitality technology event worldwide and in 2001 the attendance for the show set a new record with 6,070 attendees. The technology show, produced by Hospitality Financial and Technology Professionals (HFTP), featured over 750 booths of the latest products and services geared to the hospitality industry. The show also featured an exceptional education conference with experts from all segments of the industry, and provided two of the general sessions live on the HITEC web site at online.hitec.org.
